Services—Kitchen Design
A kitchen design that looks good on paper and one that actually runs a service are two different things, and in Dubai and across the UAE we've seen plenty of the first kind.

Scope of work
A kitchen design that looks good on paper and one that actually runs a service are two different things, and in Dubai and across the UAE we've seen plenty of the first kind. If you're opening a restaurant, cafe, or standalone F&B concept - or building a kitchen inside a hotel, museum, stadium, or waterpark - the layout you commit to before construction starts will decide your labor cost, your ticket times, and your compliance headaches for years afterward.
This service is about getting that layout, and everything that has to happen around it, right the first time, so the kitchen you open with is the kitchen you can actually operate at volume. We design, source, and coordinate this ourselves, hands-on through construction and approval - and through our post-opening management support, we stay close to how the kitchen actually performs once service starts, not just how it looks on the drawing.
Kitchen layout design
Built around your menu, covers, and service style, not a generic template.
Workflow and station planning for efficiency
Minimizing walked distance, cross-traffic, and bottlenecks during peak service.
Compliance from the first draft
With Dubai Municipality, civil defence, and food safety regulations, not as a late correction.
Equipment specification and sourcing
Matching equipment to your actual output needs, not just filling a floor plan.
Coordination with MEP consultants
On ventilation, extraction, drainage, gas, and power loads specific to commercial kitchens.
Space planning across back-of-house zones
Prep, cooking, plating, wash-up, storage, and staff areas.
Support through the approval process
With the relevant authorities.

Key challenges
Most kitchen design problems don't show up on a drawing - they show up three months into service. We step in before that happens, on a few fronts specifically.
Understanding the Real Cost of Building and Running the Kitchen
Equipment and build cost are usually the biggest line items in any fit-out, and they're the ones owners most often underestimate. We help you understand what the kitchen you actually need will cost, not the one a rough sketch implies.
Coordinating the Vendors That Touch the Kitchen
A single pre-opening project can involve 40 to 50 vendors, and a meaningful share of them - MEP consultants, civil defence and municipality inspectors, equipment suppliers - are directly tied to the kitchen. When these parties aren't talking to each other, you get mismatched drawings, failed inspections, and equipment that doesn't fit the space that was actually built.
Avoiding the Two Surprises That Derail a Fit-Out Most Often
No location surprises in terms of MEP - meaning the ventilation, power, and drainage the kitchen needs actually match what the site can provide, confirmed before construction, not discovered during it. And no missing equipment - meaning what's specified is actually available, budgeted, and delivered on time, rather than swapped out at the last minute for whatever's in stock.
Our approach
“We don't hand over a CAD file and consider the job finished.”
That's the model a lot of kitchen designers work under - you get a layout, maybe a nice rendering, and then you're on your own to make it actually happen. We've operated our own restaurants, and we know that's exactly where things fall apart: between the drawing and the working kitchen is where MEP conflicts, sourcing delays, and inspection failures actually live.
So we stay in it. We coordinate directly between the designer, the MEP consultant, the contractor, and the equipment supplier ourselves, rather than leaving you to relay messages between four parties who've never spoken to each other. We stay involved through construction, not just design sign-off, and we carry the kitchen through the regulatory approval process rather than handing you a checklist and stepping back. You keep final sign-off on the decisions that matter - budget, equipment choices, layout trade-offs - but you're not the one chasing down why the extraction contractor hasn't shown up, or why the walk-in that arrived doesn't match the spec. That's on us.
Direct Coordination
Designer, MEP consultant, contractor, and supplier.
Through Construction
Not just design sign-off.
Regulatory Approval
Carried through, not handed off as a checklist.
Expected outcomes
No location surprises in terms of MEP - what the kitchen needs and what the site provides are matched before you build.
No missing equipment - what's specified gets sourced, budgeted, and delivered.
A kitchen layout that holds up under real service volume, not just on a floor plan.
A reliable supply chain for equipment, with sourcing handled alongside design rather than after it.
Regulatory approval secured without last-minute redesigns.
No budget surprises on the build.

Location Relevance
We design and coordinate kitchens across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider UAE, as well as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman. Regulatory requirements and inspection processes differ by emirate and by country, and we work within whichever set of standards applies to your project.
Common questions
Q. Does this service include sourcing equipment, or just the layout?
A. Both. We specify and source kitchen equipment as part of this service - layout and equipment aren't treated as separate problems, because they aren't in a real kitchen.
Q. How early should kitchen design happen in the project timeline?
A. As early as possible, ideally alongside site selection and MEP planning. Kitchen requirements can affect whether a given unit is even viable, so the earlier we're involved, the fewer surprises later.
Q. Do you handle the regulatory approval process?
A. Yes. We stay involved through civil defence and municipality approvals rather than handing over a design and leaving the approval process to you.
Q. What if we already have a kitchen designer?
A. We can coordinate with an existing designer, MEP consultant, and contractor, or take on the full process ourselves. Either way, our role is making sure those parties are actually aligned.
